Special techniques & advanced applications
In the Special Techniques and Advanced Applications course, participants are introduced to advanced aspects of foot reflexology. First, they learn target group-specific techniques, with particular emphasis on reflexology for children and the elderly. These target groups require an adapted approach to make the massage safe and effective.
The combination with other forms of therapy is also covered. Participants will learn how reflexology can be integrated into holistic treatment plans to enhance the therapeutic effect. The addition of aroma and music therapy is also discussed in order to support the healing process and promote the patient's well-being.
Another important part of this subject is practice development and marketing. Participants gain basic knowledge of practice management, learn about effective marketing strategies and find out how they can successfully attract and retain customers in the long term.
The subject ends with a final discussion and group work in which participants analyze case studies and discuss them as a group. This concluding phase also provides space for reflection and sharing experiences to consolidate what has been learned and clarify any unanswered questions.
