Participants learn how to ensure the high quality of their treatments through practical adjustments and targeted corrections.

The subject is rounded off with intensive training on aftercare and customer advice following treatment. Here, participants are given tips on aftercare to ensure the best possible results for clients. They also learn how to advise their customers comprehensively and retain them in the long term in order to build a trusting and successful customer relationship. These practical units optimally prepare participants for the professional use of their skills in the therapeutic environment.

Herbal stamp massage techniques
The "Herbal stamp massage techniques" course provides in-depth knowledge of various massage practices and their application in therapeutic practice. It begins with an introduction to basic stroking, kneading and pressure techniques, which are used for deep relaxation of the muscles and tissue. Tapping and circular movements are also covered, which stimulate the circulation and are often used in combination with other techniques. Special emphasis is placed on the use of herbal stamps, including the correct posture and handling to maximize the effect. The subject also deepens the understanding of the application of heat and pressure during massage, addressing the physiological effects of heat and the importance of correct pressure dosage. The combination of heat and pressure is explained in practical examples of treatments for specific complaints. In addition, special techniques for different areas of the body such as the back, neck, arms, legs, face, stomach and chest are taught in order to specifically relieve tension, promote blood circulation and care for the skin. Finally, the integration of aromatherapy into the massage is taught, focusing on the selection of fragrances, the creation of a relaxing room atmosphere, the use of inhalation techniques and the direct application of essential oils to enhance the therapeutic effects and treat specific complaints such as stress, sleep disorders and skin problems.

Preparation and implementation of the treatment

The "Preparation and Delivery of Treatment" course provides comprehensive knowledge and skills to create a safe and relaxed treatment environment and deliver customized massages. The course starts with creating a calming working environment, where room design, lighting and decoration play an important role in creating a pleasant atmosphere. This also includes controlling the temperature and humidity for optimal client comfort. Another focus is on hygiene and safety, including the cleaning and disinfection of the room and materials, as well as safety precautions when handling hot herbal stamps. The selection and customization of background music for the treatment is also covered to create a relaxing soundscape tailored to the client's needs.

The preparation of materials and the workplace is another central component of this subject. This includes creating a detailed list of materials and sourcing quality products required for the treatment. Special attention is given to the preparation of herbal stamps, including heating methods and the provision of spare stamps. The correct selection and blending of essential oils for each treatment and their application techniques will also be taught.

Another important aspect of the course is the client consultation and anamnesis, which enables the treatment to be individually tailored to the client's needs and state of health. This includes conducting a comprehensive medical history interview, clarifying contraindications and personalizing the treatment by selecting suitable herbs, oils and techniques.

Finally, the course takes participants through a step-by-step guide to a complete treatment, from welcoming and attuning the client, to the structured delivery of the massage and the gentle conclusion of the session. The integration of aromatherapy, the correct application of techniques and tips for post-session care and relaxation round off the subject and prepare participants to offer professional and customized treatments.

We are constantly striving to exceed current quality standards in order to guarantee you the best possible training. Convince yourself of our certifications.

Funding & educational leave - how it works

Can I get funding for my training?

There are a variety of funding options for training courses at the Flexyfit Massage Academy. State-specific and EU funding as well as tax-related options form the basis for this.

However, we would like to point out that the respective funding body is solely responsible for deciding on the award or amount of funding.

We will be happy to help you find a suitable funding body and compile all the course information you need for a funding application. You must submit the application itself to the funding body.

You can find an overview of the most important funding bodies here.

How does the funding work?

Depending on the funding institution, the training costs are either paid directly after the funding application has been confirmed (e.g. AMS) or reimbursed in full or in part after successful completion of the training (e.g. waff). Please contact the funding institutions yourself to find out how the funding works.

Can I take educational leave for the course?

Yes, the majority of our courses are suitable for educational leave.

If you want to continue your education without terminating your employment, you can arrange educational leave with your employer. This means you will be released from work for the duration of your training.

Plan your educational leave with us now! We will be happy to clarify your individual training requirements with you in a personal, non-binding consultation.

How does educational leave work?

You can take your educational leave for a maximum of 1 year within 4 years - there are 3 options:

  • Educational leave spread over 12 months
  • Educational leave split up, but each part must last at least 2 months. The parts must be taken within 4 years.
  • Educational leave with part-time educational leave spread over 2 years

It is important that your employer agrees to you taking educational leave. You must provide evidence of the training plans issued by us to the extent of 20 hours per week in the case of full-time educational leave, or at least 10 hours in the case of part-time educational leave.

You must regularly provide evidence of the progress of your training. For example, in the form of examinations or confirmation of attendance, which you will receive from us.

Career afterwards - What to do after training as a qualified wellness masseur

What does a wellness masseur do and where do qualified wellness masseurs work?

A qualified wellness masseur specializes in promoting the physical and mental well-being of their clients through various massage techniques. The main tasks include performing classic massages, hot stone massages, aroma and herbal stamp massages and foot reflexology massages. The focus is on relaxing customers and relieving tension. A qualified wellness masseur knows how to create individual treatments that are tailored to the specific needs of the customer.

Certified wellness masseurs can work as employees in a variety of facilities, such as wellness hotels, sports hotels, spa resorts, health centers, wellness studios and spa clinics. Here they are part of a professional team that focuses on holistic health promotion. Thanks to their comprehensive training, they make a significant contribution to increasing the well-being of their customers and enabling them to take a break from everyday life.

The training also provides a solid foundation for those who wish to become self-employed. After completing the training and 6 months of practice as well as a successful work sample, you can start your own practice, especially in areas that specialize in classic massage. Self-employment as a masseur is defined in the trade regulations for the regulated trade of masseurs and masseuses. You can obtain further information on this directly from your local Chamber of Commerce.

These regulations enable you to open and successfully run your own business in the field of classic massage after a relatively short time and with the necessary practice.

Complete the training to become a wellness masseur step by step

You can also complete the training step by step. Start by training to become a qualified classic masseur. Once you have successfully completed this, you can specialize further and acquire the diploma in hot stone massage, followed by aroma and herbal stamp massage and foot reflexology. Once you have successfully completed all of these modules, you will finally receive the diploma in wellness massage.

This flexible training path allows you to develop at your own pace and work towards your career in the wellness sector. In this way, you can gradually expand and deepen your knowledge and skills until you have achieved all the necessary qualifications for a comprehensive career as a qualified wellness masseur.

Our numerous workshops offer you the opportunity to learn new techniques in a practical and intensive way and to continuously expand your expertise. You will benefit from the experience of our qualified instructors and gain valuable insights into specialized massage techniques.

Take the opportunity to further your education and take your career as a massage therapist to the next level. By expanding your specialist knowledge and skills , you will not only increase your professional opportunities, but also your attractiveness on the job market.

Great training and super nice people. You can tell how much emphasis is placed on conveying the necessary knowledge to the course participants in an understandable way. I was even kindly allowed to take a course completely free of charge after there were somewhat problematic and disruptive participants in my group. I will 100% take more courses with you in the future because learning is extremely fun, especially thanks to the friendly staff!

The best thing that could have happened to me is this academy. Access to participants is excellent. All employees are very competent, very professional and very friendly. A person can learn so much that it is indescribably good. I would recommend it to everyone. When I arrived in Austria I was looking for something like this and luckily I found this academy and signed up for the course without hesitation. Everything we get in return is worth 100 times more than what we pay. Indescribable experience, indescribable people, once again and 1000 times I say: Thank you for everything, thank you for this indescribable experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I was able to learn a lot of new things as part of my training at the Flexyfit Academy and was able to take on a new, demanding challenge with my chosen course. The structure of the training courses is very understandable and clear, so that you can master the distance learning course on your own without any problems. If there were any questions, ambiguities or isolated problems, the Academy team was always quick to help and we could always find a common solution. Here and there I would have liked a little more practical relevance. Nevertheless, I always felt very comfortable, had great speakers and with my degree as a qualified medical sports coach, many new doors are now open to me :)
